As we were working in Tanky's avatar, scanning her face and modeling her body, we started playing with it in a landscape, which led to a gamified experience that ended up becoming this animated short film, musicalized by our friends NNHMN.
We fantasized about a virtual initiation journey of self discovery and transcendence influenced by the concept of the Metaverse/s and the construction of our many personas across the different realms that we populate in our digital experience. In this short film we explore the Platonic concepts of Soma (body) Sema (tomb).
Is the body just a transient vessel for the soul?
How our mediated physicalities influence our emotional and spiritual existence and transcendence?
